Stefan Groß, who was already one of the founding members of IDSt in March 2021, has been a board member since the establishment of IDSt. He also chairs the expert committee VII “Innovative Technologies (Hot shit)”. This committee focuses on monitoring technological developments and evaluating potential applications in the tax process, such as artificial intelligence, process mining, and the capabilities of language models. The committee observes technical trends and establishes/maintains networks with stakeholders and providers of respective technologies. Special attention is given to promising developments and technologies in the startup environment.
In his new role, Stefan will oversee the continued successful development of IDSt across committees and throughout the institute.
