Tax work in companies will face numerous trends and challenges in the coming years. Digital transformation plays a major role in this. It is true that the megatrend of digitization has been triggering transformation processes in a wide variety of industries and corporate sectors for some years now. Surprisingly, corporate tax processes have so far been only little affected.
This is precisely where the Handelsblatt Research Institute’s “Trendradar TAX” comes in. Firstly, it highlights the trends in the tax function, it outlines the current state of digitalization based on a company survey and thirdly, it presents some examples of how companies can digitalize their tax department.
